Hello everyone,

I want to share with you my inspiring story of merging science and industry, deciding to follow my passion and take a new step in my career. My name is Lidija Jelić, master of mechanical engineering and PhD student at the same time. Science has always attracted me, but the desire to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work led me to the world of industry.

In the first year of my work in the industry, I spent six months in Germany, at the Volkswagen factory, where I had the opportunity to apply and improve my knowledge acquired during my studies. During my stay, I had the honor of leading and supervising a team that was engaged in the assembly of certain components. Cooperation with German colleagues was a special challenge, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and techniques.

After gaining that great experience, I decided to continue my career in Belgrade, where this international cooperation continued through work at Ljubex International, the largest distributor of Schaeffler brand bearings (FAG-INA).

Why exactly the bearings? Because they are the heart of many machines and systems, and I want to be part of the industry that moves the world.
Working at Ljubex gives me not only an opportunity for personal and professional development, but also work in an environment where we all take care of each other, as well as our customers. We always have products in stock for our customers. Quick response to market demands and commitment to quality make Ljubex a key player in the world of bearings.
In addition to inspiring stories, I plan to regularly share information on key technical issues related to bearings. On topics such as bearing installation, proper lubrication, different lubrication devices, bearing condition monitoring and other important aspects that are essential for the proper functioning of machines and systems.
